Insights into the Mystery of the Trinity
We currently live in an age of secular humanism and political correctness which has, to a large extent, pushed God off the scene. We think that we have Him boxed in and that we know all that there is to know about Him.
But God, always reserves for himself a remnant of people and a remnant of thought – mysteries – that He will reveal just when things seem to be at their worst. Revelation which often fuels a Revival.
Insights into the Mystery of the Trinity is just such a work!
I do not wish to give away all that is in these books – you should buy them if you really want to know. But I will tell you that the role of the three persons in the Trinity from the Old Testament to the New Testament, up to Pentecost and, of course, their role today is clearly outlined.
The author is able to illustrate that there is a distinction of persons within the Godhead, the Trinity, but that there was never a time when the Godhead was ever separated. Each person in the Godhead was allowed prominence in their dispensation while the other persons gave their silent support.
I will guarantee you that the exposition on the Trinity is so groundbreaking that I am sure you will come to know why we are so blessed to live in a country that is named after the Trinity (Trinidad and Tobago). The validity and role of the Trinity sent me soaring to new heights of understanding that provided a new perspective and dimension to my Christian walk.
For me, the most illuminating was the piece on Satan being self-made. That Lucifer – Son of the Morning – leader of worship in heaven – in charge of preparing the earth for occupancy – overseer of one third of God’s angles – having access to the very throne room of God; would so corrupt himself is astonishing!
It also caused me to take another look at mankind and to begin to really understand how favoured we are of God. And how much Satan did not and still does not want us to have this cherished spot.
And we have so lost our way that we are mostly unable to communicate with our God!
Apostle de Bourg documents all of these revelations in the Word of God. Line by line, precept by precept, here a little, there a little, we are given the proof of all of his assertions.
The final chapter of this book deals with the meaning of Christianity. Apostle de Bourg asserts that “Christianity is not a religion [normally classified as man trying to find God], but a supernatural relationship between God and the spiritually reborn followers of Jesus Christ.”
I suggest that we all get copies of this book by Apostle, that we share them with our friends, families and colleagues. That we recognise that they are written for the Christian, the Non-Christian, the rich, the poor, for every creed, race and nationality and for all mankind.
“Unique men must combine a unique fate with unique experiences to step into their unique destinies.” (p.65)
